Janice Caraballo

Miss Janice is the heart and soul of DC Dancewear and who we like to call “the pointe shoe guru” !! She is known throughout the Lehigh Valley, Poconos, and parts of NY & NJ for her outstanding pointe shoe fittings.  Miss Janice was a ballerina herself growing up and has been doing fittings for over 30 years now!! You can depend on getting a true customer service experience when you come into her store. She prides herself on the honest shoe fittings she provides for her clients every time. Miss Janice is very excited to share her knowledge and the knowledge of her friendly staff while continuing to grow her DC Dancewear community.

Miss Devon

Miss Devon is Janice’s daughter and where the concept of the store originated. We joke because she is the “DC” of DC Dancewear. While you may not see Devon in store, she is the lady running the behind the scenes trying to keep up current social media as well as make sure we are meeting our clients demands. When she isn’t working on things for the store, she can be found teaching at Miss Karen’s School of Dance in Easton, PA. She started our Brand Ambassador Program back in the 2018-2019 dance season and is excited to restart this program in the coming year so make sure to keep a watch!!

 

Miss Ani

Miss Ani joined the team back in 2021 to help out with inventory, but ended up loving the job and the people so much that she never left. Over time, she’s become known for her creative touch, especially the way she decorates the front window for every season!! Beyond her contribution to the store’s look and feel, she’s built lasting friendships with her coworkers that make the workplace feel like family.

Miss Alexa

Miss Alexa joined the team back in 2021 and immediately fell in love with the atmosphere. She grew up in the dance world and brought her passion to the store. You can find her assisting Janice with shoe fittings and working one on one with our guests. She enjoys working with every dancer that comes in and giving them a personalized experience every time. She has loved every minute with the team and hopes to continue for as long as possible! Keep an eye for Miss Alexa in our upcoming social media posts!!

Miss Kim

Miss Kim first discovered DC Dancewear many years ago when her own daughter was still in dance. She loved the store from the very beginning and over time, she naturally found herself becoming more involved with the store including traveling to studios to assist Janice with on site shoe fittings. She’s known for bringing fresh ideas, jumping in wherever she’s needed, and never sitting still for long. She also truly enjoys working alongside her co workers and values the supportive team they’ve built.
